To make sure you leave happy whenever you visit a Zona salon, we've created a training program that ensures consistent professionalism while encouraging individual creativity.

You'll find us practicing and experimenting in the salons to perfect our craft, and you'll also benefit from the additional training we pursue at Aveda Institutes and advanced academies worldwide.

Newly-licensed cosmetologists begin to learn the Zona approach. They help keep the salons spotless and perform relaxation services such as shampoo and massage. Every Monday they can work on guests they bring into the salons, under the watchful eyes of Aveda educators.

When stylists are ready to move onto the floor full-time, they focus on building and maintaining a clientele through professional practices and ongoing training in advanced techniques.

Once fully established, Zona's senior stylists handle all situations and set the standards of professionalism and productivity in the salons. Some Phase 3 stylists become one-on-one mentors to Phase 1 interns.
